Sales Representative (Individual Contributor)Japanese Chemical Manufacturer A Japanese chemical manufacturer is seeking a Sales Representative to support its North American operations. * Responsibilities * Develop new business and manage assigned customer accounts across North America * Research market trends and gather customer and competitor insights to identify growth opportunities * Work closely with Japan headquarters and local teams to ensure customer satisfaction and supply stability * Support pricing discussions, negotiations, and proposal preparation * Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as needed Qualifications * 5 to 10 years of sales experience, ideally within chemicals, automotive, or materials-related industries * Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills * Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset * Familiarity with Japanese business culture preferred * English required; Japanese language skills are a plus * Must be authorized to work in the United States Location * Novi, Michigan * Occasional business travel required (limited travel to Atlanta or other regions) Compensation and Employment * Annual salary range: $80,000 to $90,000, depending on experience * Full-time, exempt position * Start date: As soon as possible Ideal Candidate * Takes ownership and works effectively with minimal supervision * Has experience in cross-cultural or Japan-related business environments * Builds long-term customer relationships based on trust and responsiveness * Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization
