Business Development Manager - Data Centers (Houston) Location: Houston, TX Job Type: Full-time Industry: Data Centers / Infrastructure / Technology About the Role Our national client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record of selling into data centers to help expand our presence in the Houston market. This remote role focuses on developing new business, managing key relationships, and driving revenue growth within the data center ecosystem. Responsibilities * Develop and execute business development strategies targeting data center operators, owners, and partners * Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the Houston data center market * Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders * Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close * Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs * Track pipeline activity and provide regular sales forecasts and reports * Stay current on market trends, competitors, and industry developments Qualifications * 4 - 12 years of business development or sales experience * Direct experience selling into data centers is required * Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, services, or solutions * Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets * Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills * Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently * Houston-area market knowledge strongly preferred What We Offer * Competitive base salary plus commission * Benefits package (health, PTO, etc.) * Opportunity to work in a fast-growing, high-demand market * Supportive team environment with room for growth Pay: $90,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Cell phone reimbursement * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Application Question(s): * Do you have the discipline, motivation, and initiative to work from home successfully?
