Our agency is looking for a full time account manager/csr with at least 2 years experience in personal insurance. Account manager/csr will handle all day to day activities of clients. Partner XE agency management system experience is a plus. Salary based on experience, excellent benefits available. DESCRIPTION : Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day handling of account(s) to maintain client relationships with strong emphasis on service and account retention, attention to details and can handle multiple tasks is vital. QUALIFICATIONS Skills and Experience: High school equivalency; college degree and related business work experience a plus 2 years of personal lines account manager insurance work experience Working knowledge of personal insurance industry and current applicable license preferred Strong client relationships with ability to problem solve and document follow up Required licenses or ability to obtain licenses as required by State Department of Insurance; ability to participate in seminars and other training to maintain required licenses to stay abreast of developments in the insurance industry Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) Self-starter, ability to work well independently yet function as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent customer service and organizational skill Physical and Environmental Demands: Job located in a professional office environment - routinely uses standard office equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers, manuals, filing cabinets and fax machines, etc.) Standing, sitting, bending, stooping, reaching; occasional lifting/carrying (15 pounds or less) Moderate stress level Prolonged activities: sitting, use of the telephone, speaking, work on a PC/computer Ability to travel periodically to attend conferences, seminars to maintain licenses through continuing education.
