Counter Sales Representative A counter sales representative is responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing sales transactions, and assisting customers with product inquiries in a retail or service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction : Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, knowledgeable service. Assist customers in locating products and answering queries regarding features, pricing, and promotions.
• Sales Transactions : Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the ERP system. Handle cash and credit transactions while ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
• Product Knowledge : Maintain current industry knowledge of products and store promotions to better assist customers and enhance sales opportunities.
• Inventory Management : Conduct inventory management tasks, including restocking shelves, tracking product availability, and maintaining a clean and organized counter area.
• Customer Satisfaction : Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Engage in upselling or cross selling additional products or services based on customer needs.
• Team Collaboration : Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a seamless experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent; further education or sales training is a plus.
• Experience : Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Skills : Strong interpersonal and communication skills, basic math skills for processing transactions, and proficiency with point-of-sale systems. Knowledge of industry-related products is an advantage.

Work Environment

: The role may require standing for long periods and handling various customer interactions in a fast-paced environment. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
