Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. Responsibilities * Assist customers with their deli orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring satisfaction. * Prepare a variety of deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches, following established recipes and presentation standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, adhering to food safety regulations. * Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers and scales. * Handle cash transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. * Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed. * Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Experience * Previous experience in a retail or food service environment is preferred but not required. * Familiarity with culinary practices or experience in a quick-service fast food restaurant is advantageous. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and understanding retail math concepts are essential. * Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks in a busy environment. * A positive attitude with a willingness to help others is crucial for success in this role.
