As a Sales Associate, you will interact with customers to help guide them in their vehicle purchase by understanding their needs and interests, maintaining a good client database, meeting new customers, coordinating test drives, assisting with trade-in value, and negotiating vehicle costs. What We Offer * Health, vision, and dental benefit options * 401K * Hands-on, family-oriented work environment involved in the group's day-to-day functions * Opportunity for career progression, not only through our store but also other stores within the group * Part of the Mountain View Auto Group providing you with endless opportunities * PTO and holidays off * Work-life balance, closed on Sundays * Paid training * Fantastic earnings potential! * Flexible hours * Employee Assistance Program Responsibilities: * Convert showroom visitors into customers by understanding their needs and interests, while matching them * to the most appropriate vehicle * Set monthly goals at the beginning of the month * Understand the characteristics, capabilities and features of all inventories and provide the customer with detailed information, including comparing different competitive models * Accompany customers on test drives and demonstrate vehicle features * Build rapport with potential customers to improve the possibility of a sale in the future * Maintain a customer database and communicate with them as appropriate * Assist customers with completing the relevant paperwork required for a successful sale to be processed * Collaborate with team members to reach sales targets and goals * Aid with sourcing, auctions, and trades for our used vehicle inventory * Work with management in ensuring that the lot is properly merchandised to optimize sales Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required * Previous automotive sales experience is a PLUS * Professional appearance, friendly manner, and positive attitude * Ability to be competitive while maintain the client's best interests * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills * Capability of learning and using Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales program * Passion for sales and customer satisfaction * Valid driver's license, satisfactory background check results and clean driving record We are an equal opportunity employer.
