Overview

: The Sales Engineer will serve as a critical technical and commercial interface between Master Machine's customers, estimating team, engineers, and production staff. This role is responsible for reviewing nuclear-grade RFQs, developing internal costing strategies, supporting manufacturing planning, and writing technically strong proposal documentation. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and plays a key role in Master Machine's nuclear-sector growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Analyze customer RFQs for nuclear parts and prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to assess manufacturing feasibility and timelines.
• Ensure all estimates align with nuclear quality standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

:

• 10+ years of experience in machine shop and fabrication shop estimating.
• Strong familiarity with nuclear manufacturing standards (NQA-1, ASME ) preferred
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in cost estimation. Why Master Machine?
