Overview We are seeking a talented and motivated Design Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in creating their dream spaces through effective design solutions. Your expertise in exterior design, renovation, and sales will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to our clients. Duties * Engage with clients to understand their design needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions. * Utilize software tools such as Pool Studio to create detailed layout designs and visual presentations. Pool Studio proficiency is highly recommended. * Conduct product demonstrations and upsell high-end products that align with client visions. * Manage account relationships, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the design and construction process. * Collaborate with construction teams to ensure seamless execution of renovation projects. * Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively negotiate with clients and vendors. * Assist in marketing efforts to promote design services and products. Experience * Proven experience in outside sales or inside sales within the retail or design industry. * Proven pool design and sales experience is highly recommended. * Familiarity with renovation, construction processes, and swimming pool and outdoor design principles. * Proficiency in layout design software such as Pool Studio and or CAD is highly desirable. * Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Experience in lighting design is beneficial. * A solid understanding of construction math is desireable. * Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective client interactions and negotiations.
