Position Summary: We're looking for an experienced Sales Representative with a background in industrial or manufacturing outside sales--someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and values building long-term customer partnerships. You'll be the face of S&K Industrial, working with both existing and new clients to deliver customized solutions across the Central Illinois territory, which already produces nearly $1 million in annual revenue and has plenty of room to grow. Key Responsibilities * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while expanding your territory through strategic outreach. * Customize and deliver compelling sales presentations based on each client's unique needs. * Identify high-potential sales outlets and pursue opportunities for growth. * Provide regular reporting on sales activity, customer interactions, and market trends. * Stay informed on competitor activity, pricing, product trends, and emerging technologies. * Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and deliver exceptional service. * Continuously improve technical and industry knowledge through training, networking, and research. * Travel regionally to meet with customers and prospects face-to-face. What You Bring to the Role * 1-2 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sectors. * High school diploma required; some college or technical education preferred. * Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort discussing technical products. * Self-motivated with excellent communication, negotiation, and territory management skills. * A passion for customer service and meeting sales goals.
