Location TBD - office expansion is imminent and we need the people to create a winning culture at Opus Home Loans. The operation will be running full force in the next 1-2 months. Just need to sign a lease, leads and tech are ready for the team! Mortgage experience is preferable, but not required. Can do attitude, hard work ethic, sales experience is a plus. You will be provided with unlimited leads and comprehensive support to help you succeed. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial phone sales skills and a thorough understanding of loan origination practices. Responsibilities * Engage with a high volume of provided leads via phone and other communication channels. * Build rapport with potential borrowers and gather necessary information. * Educate clients on mortgage products and the loan process. * Guide clients through the all stages of the mortgage application. * Maintain consistent communication with leads and pipeline. * Work towards and exceed sales goals and targets. * Participate actively in ongoing sales and objection handling training. * Maintain a high level of organization and manage time effectively. * Collaborate with the processing team to ensure a smooth client experience. * Uphold the company's "can-do" attitude and high-energy culture * Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their mortgage needs and provide tailored solutions. * Guide clients through the loan origination process, including application, documentation, and approval stages. * Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Truth in Lending Act (TILA) requirements throughout the lending process. * Analyze financial information and assess client eligibility for various loan products. * Negotiate terms of loans with clients while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines. * Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications in accordance with company standards. * Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in regulations affecting mortgage lending. Qualifications * Sales Experience * Effort and Attitude * Must hold an active NMLS license. There are paths to licensure we can provide you with if you are not licensed currently. * Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Very comfortable spending the majority of the workday on the phone. * Highly organized and self-motivated. * Hungry for growth and unlimited earning potential. * "Can-do" attitude and a strong desire to succeed. * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, in-office environment. * Strong knowledge of loan origination processes and relevant regulations, including Fair Housing laws and TILA. * Great mathematical skills with the ability to perform calculations related to loans and interest rates accurately. * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds. * Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
