Position Overview We're seeking an enthusiastic Production and Retail Sales Assistant to be the face of Kailua Honey at our retail store in Kailua. You'll provide exceptional customer service, educate customers about our products, and ensure every customer leaves with a smile. Whether it's helping to produce and package our artisan honey, tea, body products or sharing product knowledge and creating a welcoming shopping experience, your role will be essential to our success. What You 'll Do * Greet every customer with a warm aloha and find the right products for them so they purchase them. * Produce/bottle honey, tea, and other small batch products for retail and wholesale orders. * Share your knowledge of our products and customize tasting experiences with customers. * Operate our Point of Sale (POS) system quickly and accurately for seamless transactions. * Keep our sales floor organized, stocked, and looking its best. * Work with the team to implement sales and upsell strategies and achieve store goals. * Ship online orders with care. What We 're Looking For * A passion for customer service and efficiency in producing our small batch honey, tea and other products. * Strong communication skills--you'll be talking to customers and coordinating with other team members on production flow. * Comfort with POS systems and handling cash/credit transactions. * A team player who loves collaboration but can also work independently. * Experience in retail or customer service is a plus. A warm, outgoing personality with a can-do attitude are required. * Good judgement, flexibility and working with care are required. * Food handler certification is a plus, but we'll get you certified if you don't already have it. * A background check will be performed prior to hire and must return clear.
