Job summary: To develop business partnerships generating referral growth by making effective sales contacts, calls, and presentations. Serves as the agency staff liaison with physicians, facilities, discharge planners and community agencies. Responsible for the overall development and referral growth of assigned territory. Support patients and families through the end of life care process by leading initial conversations about hospice care, explaining our services and facilitating consent with compassion and respect. Qualifications & Skills: 1. Degree in marketing or related field or equivalent professional experience (preferred). 2. Minimum of two years of experience in hospice or home health sales or a related industry with a proven record of achieving incremental growth in direct sales (preferred). 3. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs for internal and external communications, presentations, database tracking/reporting, and spreadsheet applications. 4. Must have excellent oral communication skills. 5. Is self-directed and possesses the ability to work with little supervision. Major Duties and responsibilities * Assist in exceeding company growth and census goals * Have a working knowledge of community resources/vendors. * Tracks all visits and referrals * Identifies and resolves referral source concerns in a timely manner * Responds to customer complaints in a timely manner * Attends and contributes to marketing team meetings * Communicates with Director regarding referral sources as needed * Communicates well with patients, co-workers, and external sources * Treats people with respect * Basic computer skills * Teamwork * Organization * Great work ethic * Teachable * Attention to detail * Time management * Integrity / ability to motivate others * flexible / adaptable * Calm under pressure * Multitasking Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Education: * Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: * Marketing: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
