offer a 401 (k)Job Summary Rack N Road, a locally owned outdoor and automotive parts retailer and installation center specializing in getting people's vehicles ready to get out and enjoy the outdoors, is looking to hire at our Seattle, WA, store. Rack N Road Car Racks and Hitch Superstores sell, rent, and install the racks (bike racks, ski racks, snowboard racks, kayak racks) of industry giants like Thule and Yakima. Rack N Road has cargo boxes for any budget, trailers, trailer hitches, and various accessories for the inside and outside of your vehicle. Primary Retail Sales Customer Service Vehicle Installation Responsibilities Include: * Assisting Customers in selecting the best vehicle options after asking open-ended questions. * Installing Car Racks, hitches, and other related accessories on customers' cars promptly. * Following appropriate safety measures at all times when working on customers' vehicles. * Keeping the installation bay clean and organized. * Post-installation interactions with the customer, explaining how the product works and what work was completed. * Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager Prior automotive and/or outdoor car rack accessories experience is strongly preferred but not required if you are willing to learn. You must be comfortable using tools and working on cars. Bike and Auto Mechanics are encouraged to apply. A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills are a must. We look for someone who is Self-motivated, a people person, and has a great work ethic. A love for the outdoors and/or cars is a plus. Flexible hours are available, but some weekend work is required.
