Position Outside Sales Associate ( 45k-60k + commission and car company provided) Summary A Japanese food trading company is seeking an Outside Sales Associate Essential Duties * Meets the monthly and annual sales target as designated by the manager. * Visits customers and potential customers to provide support, information, and sell Company's products * Cooperate with the accounting department to ensure the collection of payments in a timely manner. * Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and building rapport; resolves issues in a timely manner and escalates to the management as needed. * Collaborates with purchasing departments, warehouse, and other involved parties to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly. * Coordinates urgent deliveries with the customers to accommodate their needs. * Travels to other locations to meet with clients as needed * Educates customers on how the products or services can benefit them. * Inputs and updates orders within the Company database in a timely manner. * Maintains and safely navigates the Company vehicle as per the Company Vehicle Policy. * participate in the weekly sales meetings. * Attends semiannual inventory count on designated day, possibly on a weekend. * Attends Company events and functions outside of normal working hours. * Performs other duties as assigned. Working Hours, Working style M-F: 9:00-18:00 Working Location HOUSTON, TX Salary, Benefit $45K-$60K + Commission ( Employees make an average of 10k-30k in commissions) 401k Matching Qualifications * Able to drive for the majority of the daily working hours. * Able to travel within or outside of Illinois as needed. * Able to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. * Able to use the phone for extended periods of time. * Business level English and Japanese or Chinese*bilingual* is required. * Maintains a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. * Maintains a positive attitude. * Able to work independently and as a team. * Able to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload. * High school diploma required; AA and above strongly preferred. * Experience in food industry, preferably in Japanese food industry is plus * Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Possesses basic mathematical knowledge such as markups, discounts, counting inventory, weight and measurement conversions, combining, etc. * Has strong customer service and problem-solving skills. * Has strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Demonstrates basic Microsoft Office proficiency. * Knowledge of ERP systems, especially Microsoft NAV, highly preferred. * Knowledge of Japanese foods and liquors strongly preferred.
