Job Summary: Coordinate projects beginning with initial customer contact through pre-production stage. Essential Functions*: * Author initial customer correspondence. * Coordinate preliminary design review with Design Engineering. * Prepare quotes for customers * First contact with customer regarding all pre-production questions and concerns. * Monitors progress of projects to assure compliance with budget, delivery date and other issues. * While in production stage, coordinate with customer and Nifco staff regarding design changes, variances in costs. * Acts as liaison between Sales Department and other Nifco Departments to establish pricing, delivery, specification, etc. * Assists with customer communications during major quality conformance issues. * May occasionally travel by auto or aid to visit customers. * Behave in a positive manner that enhances the success of the company. * And all other duties as assigned by management. Preferred Education*: * Minimum Associates degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent education or experience. Preferred Skills/Experience: * Less than two years of professional sales experience particularly in automotive and/or injection molded parts. * Excellent interpersonal/communication skills to interact effectively with customers and other Nifco personnel. * Blueprint reading course (Honda) * Must be self-motivated and highly organized. * Proven skills in problem solving and decision making. * Highly detail oriented and ability to handle multiple priorities. * Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
