Job Description: As an Installation/Account Manager at Gasket Guy of Tennessee Valley, you will serve as the primary solution provider for our clients' needs for cooler door maintenance. The main focus of your role will be the replacement and installation of commercial refrigeration gaskets and hardware. Down the road, the role may include prospecting for new clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and actively selling gaskets and hardware. Key Responsibilities: -Remove non-functioning gaskets and hardware. -Install new gaskets and hardware. -Provide quotations for gaskets, cutting boards, and other hardware. Essential Job Functions: -You do not need to have previous experience with refrigerator doors, but be ready and willing to learn. -Basic understanding of light handyman-like skills, or the aptitude to learn. -Physical requirements may include walking, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods, as well as driving to various customers on a daily basis. This is not overly physical, but be ready to be on the move. You will not be sitting at a desk! Job Requirements and Qualifications: -Independent work ethic with efficient time management skills. -Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds. -Technical aptitude to learn basic light handyman skills. Most gaskets just snap into a track, and hinges just screw in. Basic skills to look at a situation and figure out the right solution. -Outgoing personality, ready and willing to talk to customers. -Computer literacy and proficiency in using digital sales/quoting/ordering tools. -Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. -Professional demeanor and presentation. -Clean driving record and verifiable job references Working Conditions: -Training on our products and practices will be provided. -Predominantly indoor work environment, with occasional outdoor inspections. -Most work will take place at the customer's locations. Kitchens, grocery stores, hospitals, schools, etc. Compensation: Job Type: Full-time Base Pay with Commission Schedule: Flexible schedule 8-hour shift Working hours may vary at times. Weekend work may occur, but it would be rare.
