NEW FLAGSHIP RETAIL STORE OPPORTUNITY!! Come join Kings & Queens Hawaii first Flagship store located in the heart of Waikiki directly across from the Duke statue. This is a new concept encompassing Hawaii inspired apparel with our own brand Kings & Queens and Kamea. We will be launching in partnership Kamea brand, which is designed by famous local muralist and artist Kamea Hadar. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience creating a sales oriented culture. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for retail sales, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must be available over the holidays and ability to work nights and weekends. Responsibilities * Greet customers with Aloha and assist them in locating products within the store. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display through effective merchandising techniques. * Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and promote sales. * Tell the Kings & Queens story and deliver a customer experience. * Upsell products by understanding customer needs and suggesting complementary items. * Stock shelves and ensure that inventory is replenished regularly to meet customer demand. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including managing back stock areas. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail apparel sales environment is preferred. * Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences. * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and performing retail math calculations. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. * Experience with product demos and upselling techniques is a plus. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. * Familiarity with stocking procedures and merchandising strategies is beneficial.
