About the Role

ABC Ortho is seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial Orthopedic Sales Representative to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. This entry-level, 1099 independent contractor role is ideal for individuals looking to launch a career in orthopedic medical device sales. The representative will exclusively promote and support ABC Ortho's innovative product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent ABC Ortho's product portfolio to surgeons, clinical staff, and healthcare partners while maintaining expert-level product knowledge
• Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons and operating room personnel
• Attend surgical procedures to provide product support and education
• Manage sales pipeline, inventory, and surgical schedules
• Meet or exceed assigned sales targets
• Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends
• Uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 1-2 years of sales experience or a medical/clinical background preferred
• Comfortable working in an operating room environment
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
• Adaptable and effective in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
• Ability to obtain credentialing at local healthcare facilities
