Job Description : Saunders Brothers is looking for part-time retail sales associates to work in our farm market. The responsibilities include assisting customers in the selection of plants, fruit, and produce, operating our checkout system, serving ice cream, sandwiches, and other products from our kitchen, and stocking fruit and jarred items in our retail market. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy meeting new people, and enjoy the friendly atmosphere of a family owned and operated farm market. Start Date : Our Farm Market reopens in April of 2026. Hours : Monday through Saturday 8:00 AM until 5 PM or 6 PM (depending on time of year) with a half hour for lunch. Must be willing to work additional hours as workload dictates. Will be required to work some Saturdays. This is a part-time position that requires work from 1-3 days per week from April until December. Pay and Benefits*:* Commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive hourly wage and discounts on products purchased in the farm market. Supervisor : This person will answer directly to the Farm Market Manager. Requirements and duties would include the following*: * Willing to: * work in a fast-paced environment of the farm market in stocking fruit, vegetables, and other products. * assist customers in the selection of plants, fruit, and produce. * learn to operate a checkout system with barcodes. * serve ice cream and work in the kitchen. * stock shelves with jarred products and keep freezers full of beef and pork. * Able to lift up to 30 pounds of peaches, apples, or other produce and assist customers in loading fruit into their cars. * Have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy meeting new people. * Able to prioritize workload and have flexibility as work demands change. * As our Farm Market is "open air", staff must be willing to work in outdoor conditions of heat, cold, and dust. * Must be able to work effectively with other staff members. * Must be willing to perform other duties as needed.
