Position Summary Big Ray's corporate sales associates are responsible for not only delivering a product but are expected to establish and preserve long lasting business relationships that support growth for both Big Ray's and our customers. The goal of the corporate sales associate is to provide a level of service that stands out above our competitors. Essential Job Functions * Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers within our business to business sales model through verbal and written communications, assisting customers with locating proper workwear for their working conditions, and follow work orders through the order fulfillment process. * Ensure merchandise presentation is within company standards and workwear stock is sufficient to meet customers' needs by restocking and communicating with the sales floor staff and buyers as necessary. * Encourage and promote a positive team environment among co-workers and customers. * Drive motor vehicle as needed. Job Qualifications The following are required * High school diploma or GED * Ability to handle sales data and information with accuracy * Ability to set and accomplish goals * Excellent written and verbal communication skills The following are preferred * Two years customer service experience * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs Physical and Mental Demands The physical demands of this position require frequent standing, walking, sitting, speaking, and hearing. Requires near vision to write and read printed materials and computer screens. Requires hearing and speaking to exchange information on the telephone or in person. The employee is regularly required to reach with his/her hands and arms and lift items weighing up to 40 lbs. Must be able to use carts, ladders, dollies, and stools to assist in moving or shelving items. Requires sufficient arm, hand, finger dexterity to operate a keyboard and other office equipment. Repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers may also be required. Requires the ability to operate a vehicle safely. Requires the ability to climb a flight of stairs. Additionally, the employee must be able to communicate by oral and written means in an appropriate business manner and have cognitive skills to understand instructions, readily recall facts and details, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure. Work Environment This position is performed in a dynamic, fast-paced retail setting fulfilling large corporate orders with the offices located adjacent to the sales floor. The employee will occasionally be on the retail floor among clothing and related fixtures, among embroidery machines with moving parts and sharp objects, and in the warehouse among boxes of clothing and customer records. Nights and/or weekend availability is required. This position also may occasionally require attendance at major networking events and/or tradeshows that may or may not include evenings and weekends. We are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our team and help us meet our sales goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be highly organized, and have the ability to work independently. Responsibilities include providing administrative support to the sales team, preparing sales reports, managing customer inquiries, and assisting with customer orders. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
