Overview

The Director of Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and leading T&D Materials Manufacturing's sales organization. This position reports directly to the Owner of the company and plays a key role in shaping sales strategy and company growth. The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with experience managing teams, coaching sales professionals, and expanding into new markets within technical or industrial industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a sales team of 12 -20 sales representatives
• Drive overall sales growth by setting clear goals, strategies, and performance expectations
• Coach, mentor, and develop sales team members to improve performance and professional growth
• Develop and execute strategies to expand into new markets, industries, and geographic regions
• Identify new applications and opportunities for high-density metal products
• Work closely with ownership and cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, operations) to align sales strategy with company capabilities
• Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and forecasts; report results directly to the Owner
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners
• Participate in major account management and contract negotiations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred
• 8+ years of sales experience in manufacturing, industrial, or technical products
• Proven experience leading and coaching a sales team
• Strong background in driving revenue growth and market expansion
• Experience with international customers and complex sales cycles preferred
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel as needed
