Key Responsibilities The DSD Route Sales Representative is responsible for managing a sales route of approximately 16-18 customers per day , ensuring all accounts are visited on a weekly or biweekly basis. Customer Service & Satisfaction * Sell and deliver products to customers while maintaining strong relationships. * Represent the company professionally in the market and ensure a 100% weekly service efficiency rate. * Monitor product rotation to maintain freshness and quality. Sales & Business Growth * Develop customer relationships and identify sales opportunities. * Negotiate promotions and new product introductions with store managers/owners. * Coordinate and lead in-store promotional activities. * Use the sales toolkit to maximize customer potential. * Retain existing customers while identifying opportunities to expand the customer base. Route Management & Profitability * Manage route itineraries and customer portfolios for optimal efficiency. * Assess route productivity and make necessary adjustments. Operational Excellence & Compliance * Merchandise and rotate products to maintain proper inventory levels. * Place, review, and upload daily product orders before leaving the warehouse. * Handle cash collection , convert to money orders when needed, and complete daily sales reconciliation with the check-in clerk. * Maintain truck cleanliness, integrity, and inventory control. Key Performance Metrics * Daily Effectiveness (including customer service calls) * Brand Penetration * Spoils Management * Customer Base Growth & Retention * Daily Sales Performance Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience * Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. * High school diploma or bachelor 's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Engineering, or a related field. * Preferred 1+ years of sales experience , preferably in DSD (Direct Store Delivery). * Experience working in small-to-mid-sized DSD companies is a plus. Technical & Physical Requirements * Proficient in using technological devices (tablets, smartphones, and route management software). * Comfortable working independently and driving extensively within the metro area. * Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. * Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and manage physical product deliveries. * Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to changing market conditio Job Type: Full-time Pay: $800.00 - $1,500.00 per week Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Application Question(s): * Are you available to work Monday to Saturday? * This position requires starting work at 5:30 AM.
