Part-Time Associate Description Reports To: Store Manager Responsibilities: * Assist customers with locating merchandise * Fold, size, and replenish merchandise * Assist in merchandise displays * Communicate with the management staff any customer requests/concerns * Operate the cash register by ringing up customer sales * Develop a working knowledge of collegiate sports and university activities * Partner with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in the overall day-to-day operations of the store, product placement, and achieving sales goals. * Assist in the training of the staff on company policies and procedures * Maintain high standards of a clean and neat sales floor, cash wrap, fitting rooms, and an organized stockroom * Maintain a superior customer experience and provide excellent customer service to every customer * Partner with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to ensure protection of all company assets * Ensure that all E-commerce orders are filled and processed in a timely manner per company standards * Receive store merchandise from trucks * Check in all merchandise to invoices/packing slips * Ensure that all new merchandise is placed on the sales floor as soon as possible * Maintain operational standards to secure the store's assets * Perform related duties as required Qualifications: * Must be 18 years or older * Previous retail experience is preferred * Must be able to work a schedule based upon the business needs - including holidays, nights, and weekends * Strong verbal and communication skills * Minimum high school degree or equivalent * Ability to train and develop employees * Ability to work well within a team * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Strong verbal and communication skills Disclaimer : This job description is not an employment agreement or contract.
