Right at Home is hiring for a Home Care Sales Representative! We provide top-notch home care including companion care, personal care, and specialty care to the geriatric and veteran populations. We've been nominated best home care provider and best place to work! Home Care Sales Representative will conduct home care sales activities and own the referral source development. Follow up on new client inquiries, tracking potential clients, and managing new client sales process. Hours are Monday through Friday 8a - 5p. Essential Functions of Home Care Sales Representative: * Market and promote the agency services in the community. * Be completely knowledgeable in the agency service lines, service fees, and client base. * Propose services and institute contractual agreements with clients. * Communicate information on competitive strategy to agency office staff. * Build sales within Birmingham territory according to goals. * Pre-plan weekly sales activities. * Maintain written documentation relating to all sales activity. * Participate in developing annual sales goals. * Coordinate sales activity with all office staff to ensure appropriate follow-up. * Create and develop promotional material as needed. Represent the agency at community functions and professional organizations. * Conduct initial client assessments in the home to understand care needs, environment, and family expectations. Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and the care team. Skills of Home Care Sales Representative: * Must be creative, self-motivated, and have a pleasant and helpful disposition. * Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and apply good judgment based on the principles of sound management. * Have a valid driver's license and use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation. * Competitive mindset to drive results. * Excellent interpersonal communication skills and energy. * Exceptional telephone skills. * Ability to convert inbound inquiries into appointments. * Knowledge of common medical terminology. * Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment. * Basic office and computer skills and organizational abilities (Microsoft Office) * Experience working with the Veterans is a plus but not required. Requirements of Home Care Sales Representative: * 1-3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in Home Care, Hospice, or Home Health fields. * Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related fields. * Have a valid driver's license and use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation.
