Overview

The Flooring Sales & Measurement Technician is a hybrid in-home sales and technical role. You'll visit customers' homes to measure flooring, consult on the best product and installation solutions, and guide them through the buying process. Success in this role requires:

• The technical skills to gather accurate project data
• The people skills to earn trust, build rapport, and close sales
• The drive to meet performance goals and contribute to a growing team

Key Responsibilities

Duties

: Sales & Relationship Building

• Be relatable, trustworthy, and confident during in-home consultations
• Guide customers through flooring solutions that meet their needs
• Present, explain, and close sales in a clear and consultative way
• Follow up as needed to keep the project and customer on track Measurement & Coordination
• Measure residential flooring accurately using digital tools
• Determine materials and labor needed for each project
• Submit complete, error-free measurements daily
• Communicate proactively with internal teams and Lowe's partners Organization & Teamwork
• Review and verify documentation daily
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Be a positive contributor to a high-growth, high-trust team What We're Looking for in Candidates:
• 2+ years of work experience (sales or construction preferred)
• Strong client communication and trust-building skills
• Detail-oriented and well-organized with a self-starter mindset
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license (must be 18+)
• Ability to pass a background check
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; able to learn internal platforms
• Comfortable working on the road and in a physical environment Physical
