Description: General Summary: Provides safe and effective termite management services to residential customers, to achieve required performance outcomes. Promotes the company with customers and takes advantage of opportunities to strengthen ties with existing and prospective customers. Keeps records of service activities and submits reports to management as required. To qualify for employment individuals must meet the basic qualifications and be able to perform the required competencies. Time Allocation: 95% of time is spent in field performing services. 5% of time is spent in the office on administrative duties. Required Competencies: CUSTOMER RELATIONS * Is courteous, professional and customer service minded at all times TECHNICAL SERVICE * Effectively inspects, diagnoses problems, and renders service using approved materials and methods * Makes sure customers are 100% satisfied PRODUCTIVITY * Makes productive use of service time and travel * $25k+ per month in production * Prioritizes well to balance work completion and special needs COMPLIANCE AND SAFETY * Attends all scheduled training * Attains pest control certification * Applies pesticides safely and effectively in accordance with the label and state regulations SERVICE * Efficiently responds to unscheduled requests for service * Communicates with customers and the Company, in a timely fashion, to assure a smooth flow of service * Follows company policies and procedures * Maintains accurate records of service time, materials and other required customer information CARE AND CUSTODY * Maintains care and custody of company vehicle, communication equipment, and other tools, materials and records. SALES SUPPORT * Works cooperatively to refer, promote or sell new services, new customers * Continues to resell(retain)through service quality * Continuously funnels leads to sales department OTHER * Performs other duties as required * Achieves minimum sales generated goal per month (see attached table) Required Performance Outcomes: * Zero service quality complaints * 98.5% of scheduled monthly services completed * Less than 1% monthly customer attrition * Average materials usage 6% of revenue * Route paperwork fully completed and submitted daily and on time * Zero at-fault vehicle accidents * Gets minimum 4 customer surveys (Google+, Angie's List, Yelp, etc.) per month * Works overtime when necessary (inclement weather, etc.) Requirements: Basic Qualifications - Required: * Valid motor vehicle operator's license, and safe operator * Read, write, speak, and comprehend English * At least 18 years of age * Legal to work in the U.S. * Possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. * Reliable transportation to and from work * Available to work required days and times * Free of any illegal drug use; 0 tolerance drug policy Basic Qualifications - Preferred: * 2-year college degree Required Credentials/Certification(s): * Attend state certified tech school within 75 days * Obtain and maintain NC Certified Applicator's Certification within 9 months Required Knowledge: * Reading, writing, and speaking English, and basic mathematics * Communication technologies such as iPhone, e-mail, web * Organizing and prioritizing tasks and time * Predominant pest pressures and treatment alternatives for pests & termites * Assigned territory, customers and their preferences/needs * Treatment regulations and safety procedures * Computer handheld technology: iPhone, PestPac Required Skills: * Reading, writing, and arithmetic * Organizing and managing time * Inspecting and diagnosing pest problems * Performing safe and effective pest management * Scheduling services using service scheduling software & office personnel Required Physical Abilities: * Sit, stand, walk, hear, touch, talk, write, type, smell, drive, crouch, crawl, see close up and far away, use handheld computer, use computer monitor and keyboard, ascend/descend a ladder, use small hand/power tools, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and tolerate heights, confined working spaces, and variable weather conditions.
