Director of Front Office is needed for an upscale full-service Resort in the Florida Keys. This position will require an experienced and professional Front Office/ Rooms Director with Hotel Front office expertise. * Director of Front Office Responsibilities: * Ensuring the operation of Guest Services, Bell Service, and Front Desk service in an attentive, friendly, efficient and courteous manner, providing all guests with quality service. * Maximizing room revenue, ADR and Occupancy. * Managing staff productivity, training and service standards. * Lead, coach, discipline, and develop Rooms Division staff; oversee hiring, training, performance reviews, morale, communication, and succession planning. * Oversee daily operations through department tours, public-area and guestroom inspections, monitoring oversold dates, and ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and service quality. * Manage financial responsibilities including labor control, expense monitoring, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reviews to maximize profitability. * Director of Front Office Qualifications: * Requires 6+ years of progressive hotel experience, or a 4year degree with 4+ years related experience, or a 2year degree with 5+ years' experience, must have Hotel Front Office management experience. * Must be proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and Opera. * Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner. * Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives. * Director of Front Office Benefits: * Competitive base salary with Bonus. * Health Insurance, PTO, 401K * Potential relocation assistance and Housing provided. * Opportunity for growth
