Full description of the position

Job Overview: * We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a "Westbound" Travel Desk Associate. The ideal candidate must have a passion for serving as a point of contact for Westbound partners and other departments regarding Hawaii-tour products. * The Travel Desk associates are also expected to maximize revenue and assist managers and other member of leadership team for creating new tour products and implementing promotion. * This role requires the associates to respond to communications from Inbound partners concerning reservations through our operation system, as well as respond to inquiries from the guests and our business partners. * See the Official Website of LeaLea Tours [please apply online] Work Hours: * 8am to 5pm including 1-hour lunch break. * Five days a week on-site, including weekends and holidays. Status: * Full Time (40 hours per week) : Work of 8 hours a day is required. * The first 90 days will be a probation period. Work Location: * Royal Hawaiian Center (2201 Kalakaua Ave. Honolulu HI 96815) Duties include: * Responding to tour related and Trolley tickets inquires via face-to-face, phone and emails. * Introducing and selling a variety of LeaLea Tours and activities to inbound tourists. * Booking hotels, transportation, activities and vendors for travel products/events. * Creating detailed, creative proposals and contracts to clienteles. * Welcoming the guests at LeaLea Trolley stops to make sure the customers get on the right vehicle when it's necessary. * Greeting customers both at the hotels and airport in case of group travel. * Utilizing Social Media and blogs to spread the world out of our products. * Creating and maintaining detailed records and reports of activities and expenses. * Familiarizing yourself with Hawaii's tourism and local attractions as well as hotels on Oahu's and other islands. * Conducting various customer service duties in a friendly and professional manner. Qualifications/Requirements: * More than 1 year of customer service experience preferred. * Tourism background preferred. * A high school diploma required. * Business-level computer literacy (MS-Word, MS-Excel, Google Suites, etc.) required. * Ability to perform simple math functions, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, etc. * Flexibility with various shift schedule, including Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. * Ability to adapt changing schedules, occasionally switching shifts with colleagues. * Proper business-attire for office, meeting the Company's standards for appearance and grooming. *No uniform assigned. * Ability to commute to Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki by any public transportation or your own vehicle. * Ability to communicate both Japanese and English Physical Requirements: * Considerate amount of waling and standing required for the arrival/departure of Trolley duties and the counter assignments. * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times. Requirements Must be able to commute to the above work location at the time of interview or at the start of work.
