JOB DESCRIPTION: The Commercial Sales Coordinator (CSC) serves as a key member of the Inside Sales & Marketing Team and is expected to work from our corporate offices at 2255 North Triphammer Road, Ithaca, NY. The position reports to the VP of Sales, Marketing & Design. Job tasks involve completing all clerical aspects of processing sales orders in an assigned sales territory. With a focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction, they will ensure that customer orders are managed with a combination of speed, quality and accuracy. Other key responsibilities include, relaying information to customers in a timely and professional manner, generating sales reports, routine data entry and interfacing with outside sales representatives. The CSC will coordinate with other internal departments such as Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, Install & Service, as well as externally with vendors and customers. Key activities within this process include identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving order issues, meeting customer expectations, and supporting Outside Sales Representatives. Excellent customer service, clear communication skills, keen attention to detail, a team player mentality and the ability to multitask across multiple projects are key to the success of this position. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree preferred * Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: * Collaboration with contacts and colleagues to create smooth workflow, including soliciting assistance from others as needed and helping others, as appropriate. * Ability to multitask and prioritize work by considering importance, urgency, and potential implications. * Must have the desire and ability to produce high-quality work. * Excellent oral and written communications skills, especially with the composition and editing of email correspondence. * Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The Commercial Sales Coordinator position is an FLSA non-exempt, salaried, permanent, full-time position, and is eligible for company benefits including health, dental, and 401(k).
