Accounts Payable Clerk - Automotive Dealership (CDK Drive) Capitol Nissan -Infiniti | In-Person Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $25 -$30 per hour (DOE) Overtime may be available during peak periods Position

Overview

Capitol Nissan-Infiniti is a fast-paced, customer-focused automotive dealership seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. This role is ideal for someone with automotive dealership accounting experience and hands-on CDK Drive knowledge who thrives in a high-volume environment and values accuracy and accountability. What You 'll Do

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely, accurate payments
• Maintain Accounts Payable records and perform vendor and GL reconciliations
• Enter, review, and manage AP data in CDK Drive (ADP)
• Prepare AP-related journal entries and assist with month-end close
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Work closely with Parts, Service, Sales, and Finance departments
• Support audits and internal controls as needed
• Assist with payroll or benefits tasks as needed (preferred, not required)

Required Qualifications

• Automotive dealership accounting experience
• Hands-on CDK Drive experience
• Solid understanding of Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and debits/credits
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Basic Excel skills and general computer proficiency Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with payroll or benefits
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems
