Full description of the position

About Ellie Mental Health Are you looking for a supportive, educational, and collaborative working environment focused on career development? Would you like to balance your clinical care responsibilities with coaching and supporting new mental health professionals? Then, this is your opportunity! Ellie Mental Health ("Ellie") is rapidly expanding across Southwest Florida, with clinics in Naples and Estero, with Fort Myers coming in 2026, and 2 additional locations over the next 2-3 years. We are seeking a Psychologist (PsyD in clinical psychology) to join our outpatient mental health clinics in Naples and Estero serving Collier and Lee County, Florida. As a provider at Ellie, you'll share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care and thrive in an environment driven by our core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination. The mental health industry is full of barriers, and we've made it our goal to fill the gap and find innovative ways to break down these barriers for the communities we serve. Ellie clinics are structured to remove many of the daily obstacles that get in the way of providing world-class mental health services. Ellie makes the clinician's experience a priority by offering excellent compensation, training, flexible scheduling (FT/PT), CEU's, and an incredibly inclusive environment. Additionally, Ellie provides centralized administrative support, technology, referral support, scheduling, client/therapist matching, and more. We offer a blended service model, with in-person and tele-health options. You'll love working in our modern office environment designed with a warm vibe and community feel! Position Overview We are seeking a licensed Psychologist (PsyD) to provide direct clinical care, support our therapy team, and ensure the highest quality of services across our clinics. This role combines clinical practice with leadership responsibilities and is ideal for a psychologist who thrives in both patient care and professional coaching and supervision. The psychologist will focus on three key areas: 1. Reviewing and providing feedback on team clinical documentation/notes to maintain compliance and ensure quality care standards. 2. Providing psychological assessments and direct therapy services to a caseload of clients across a variety of ages and presenting concerns. 3. Supervising PsyD interns and postdoctoral fellows by offering guidance, mentorship, and oversight of clinical work. Clinical Duties: * Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions. * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based psychological interventions. * Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to clients struggling with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive issues. * Utilize evidence-based counseling techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and other appropriate modalities. * Conduct assessments that include areas of cognition, adjustment to disability and related measures to the rehabilitation population. * Consult with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare providers as needed to coordinate comprehensive care. * Offer psychoeducation to clients, caregivers, and family members regarding mental health conditions and coping strategies. Supervision Responsibilities * Review clinical documentation from the therapy team and ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with best practices. * Supervise licensed and pre-licensed clinicians (interns, fellows, and early career psychologists), offering case consultation, feedback, and mentorship. * Collaborate with clinic leadership to uphold clinical quality standards and support professional development of the team. * Contribute to a positive, supportive, and engaging clinic culture consistent with Ellie's mission. Qualifications * Doctoral degree (PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited program. * Active, unrestricted Florida psychologist license (or license-eligible within 3 months) is required. * Experience working with rehabilitation and/or geriatric populations, cognitive disorders, and mood disorders preferred. * Training in neuropsychological testing, cognitive assessment, and behavioral interventions is a plus. * Experience providing clinical supervision to doctoral-level trainees or early career clinicians ideal but not required (we will train you!). * Strong knowledge of clinical documentation requirements, ethical standards, and evidence-based practices. * Comfortable working with diverse client populations and a variety of presenting concerns. * Collaborative, approachable, and committed to fostering a supportive team environment. * Excellent communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Benefits: * Competitive salary with opportunity for revenue sharing (bonus program) * Modern office environment with a warm vibe and community feel. * Flexible hours and some remote options available. * Continuing education reimbursement to support professional growth. * Malpractice liability insurance included. * Regular support from Clinic Director and Owner. * Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees. * Paid time off (PTO) and holidays for full-time employees. * 401k with matching (starting Jan 2026). Why Join Ellie? * Supportive, non-corporate clinic environment that values clinician well-being and team culture. * Opportunities to grow as a clinical leader, supervisor or part-time support above and beyond seeing clients and supervision (i.e. recruiting, marketing, team training, etc.). * Competitive compensation and benefits package. * Play an integral role in shaping the next generation of psychologists while still maintaining your own clinical practice. Join us on the ground floor as we grow from 2 clinics to 5 clinics and beyond!
