Job Summary The Sales Administrative Assistant plays a critical support role within the Sales and Marketing team, ensuring smooth day-to-day sales operations while supporting revenue growth and customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who is eager to grow a career in sales operations, marketing support, and customer engagement in a fast-paced distribution environment. The Sales Administrative Assistant will support order processing, CRM activity, inventory and pricing checks, sales reporting, marketing coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with Purchasing, Accounting, and Operations. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high accuracy standards. Responsibilities * Collaborate with Logistics, Procurement, and Customer Service teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of all orders. * Support the sales team by handling data entry, updating customer records in CRM systems, and assisting with order processing. * Process and manage daily sales orders (SO) with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness. * Coordinate with internal teams to resolve order issues, pricing discrepancies, and customer inquiries. * Provide excellent customer support by responding to inquiries via phone or email with friendly and clear communication. * Serve as a point of contact for customers by responding to inquiries, providing product information, and supporting sales efforts. * Address customer issues promptly, ensuring professional communication and service recovery when needed. * Check inventory quantities and pricing daily to ensure accuracy. * Coordinate closely with the Purchasing and Accounting teams to validate pricing, billing, and product availability. Qualifications * Previous office or administrative experience is highly preferred; familiarity with clerical tasks like filing, data entry, and proofreading is essential. * Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets). * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Bilingual abilities are a plus--fluency in languages can help serve a diverse customer base. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor. * Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
