As a Parts Sales Representative, you'll be the go-to expert for customers' parts needs -- building relationships, driving sales, and ensuring a seamless experience from order to delivery. You'll help customers keep their machines running while growing Vermeer Great Plains' presence in the market. What You'll Do * Build and maintain strong customer relationships through calls, visits, and follow-ups * Grow sales by developing leads into opportunities and promoting Vermeer GP parts * Assist customers with identifying, quoting, and ordering the right parts * Stay informed on inventory, manufacturer programs, and product updates * Serve as the primary contact for all parts-related customer questions * Process orders, invoices, and payments accurately in the business system * Receive, deliver, and track parts to ensure timely customer service * Travel extensively to serve and grow your customer base, 75% or more * Contribute to a safe, professional, and team-focused work environment What We're Looking For * 2+ years of outside heavy equipment and/or parts sales, or 3-5 years of related experience (or equivalent combination) * High school diploma/GED required; vocational training a plus * Strong customer service and communication skills * Mechanical/technical knowledge and ability to identify equipment parts * Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated * Proficient with MS Office; CDK experience is a plus * Valid driver's license and clean driving record (DOT medical card required or ability to obtain) * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions * Bilingual skills a plus Why Vermeer Great Plains? * Competitive pay + bonus opportunities * Full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k with ESOP) * Paid time off + holidays * Ongoing training and career development * The stability of an established company with the culture of employee ownership FLSA status: Non-exempt EOE The above noted job description is not intended to describe, in detail, the multitude of tasks that may be assigned but rather to give a general sense of responsibilities and expectations of position.
