As a Parts Sales Representative, you'll be the go-to expert for customers' parts needs -- building relationships, driving sales, and ensuring a seamless experience from order to delivery. You'll help customers keep their machines running while growing Vermeer Great Plains' presence in the market.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through calls, visits, and follow-ups
• Grow sales by developing leads into opportunities and promoting Vermeer GP parts
• Assist customers with identifying, quoting, and ordering the right parts
• Stay informed on inventory, manufacturer programs, and product updates
• Serve as the primary contact for all parts-related customer questions
• Process orders, invoices, and payments accurately in the business system
• Receive, deliver, and track parts to ensure timely customer service
• Travel extensively to serve and grow your customer base, 75% or more
• Contribute to a safe, professional, and team-focused work environment What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of outside heavy equipment and/or parts sales, or 3-5 years of related experience (or equivalent combination)
• High school diploma/GED required; vocational training a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Mechanical/technical knowledge and ability to identify equipment parts
• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Proficient with MS Office; CDK experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (DOT medical card required or ability to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
