Job Summary We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a strong ability to transform spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs, developing design concepts, selling the design to the customer and executing projects from inception to completion. Proficiency in industry- standard software and a solid understanding of budgeting and sales will be essential for success in this position. Responsibilities * Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, requirements, and budget constraints. * Develop comprehensive design plans that include layouts, color schemes, materials, and furnishings. * Utilize software such as Vision 2020 to create detailed design presentations. * Conduct site visits to assess spaces and gather information for design proposals. * Prepare project budgets and manage costs throughout the design process. * Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely execution of designs. * Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to interior design. * Assist in lighting design projects and provide expertise in lighting sales as needed. * Present designs to clients effectively while incorporating their feedback into revisions. Experience * A degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred. * Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects. * Strong skills in budgeting and project management are highly desirable. * Experience in lighting design or sales is a plus but not mandatory. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
