Duties * Develop new business opportunities through proactive outside and inside sales efforts, including cold calling, and lead generation. * Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations of fire alarm systems, access control, CCTV surveillance, and other security technologies to prospective clients. * Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, upselling additional solutions, and ensuring ongoing client satisfaction. * Identify market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and expand market share within assigned territories. * Collaborate with management on sales planning, forecasting, and territory development initiatives. * Utilize CRM software and our industry specific quoting software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and maintain accurate sales records. * Generate and negotiate contracts and proposals to clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet technical specifications and budget requirements. Skills * Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the fire safety or security industry. * Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management and account growth strategies effectively. * Expertise in business development, lead generation, and direct sales techniques to expand client base. * Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce or similar platforms for tracking sales activities and customer data. * Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused approach to deliver tailored solutions. * Knowledge of fire alarm systems, access control technologies, CCTV systems, Intrusion alarms, and related security products. * Ability to conduct product demos confidently while explaining complex technical features clearly. * Strong analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate security solutions. * Effective communication skills for inside sales calls, retail interactions, and professional presentations. * Demonstrated ability in upselling existing clients by introducing new products or enhanced services.
