Facilities Operations Manager - Multi-State Vendor & Market Expansion Location: Commack, NY Company: Clear View Building Services Compensation: $52,500 - $72,800 annually (salary) Compensation is based on experience. The upper end of this range is reserved for candidates who have directly built and managed multi-state vendor networks and can operate independently with minimal oversight. THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL ROLE Important - Please Read Before Applying This is not an entry-level dispatcher, call-center, or administrative role. We are specifically looking for someone who has personally sourced, vetted, onboarded, and managed service vendors in markets where no existing vendor relationships were in place. If your experience is limited to assigning work orders to pre-approved vendor lists or internal crews , this role will not be a fit. Role Overview Clear View Building Services is expanding its facilities operations footprint beyond New York. We are seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to support new market build-out and multi-state vendor sourcing while maintaining high service standards across existing accounts. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. You will be responsible for building vendor coverage where it does not yet exist, managing active work orders, and ensuring work is completed correctly, on time, and documented properly. This role is ideal for someone who is hungry, accountable, and motivated by ownership and responsibility. What This Role Looks Like Day-to-Day * A work order comes in for a market where no vendor is currently on file -- you source, vet, onboard, and dispatch a qualified provider. * You actively research and cold-call vendors across multiple trades and regions. * You negotiate availability and pricing within real-world constraints. * You manage follow-up, documentation, and close-out without needing escalation. Key Responsibilities * Manage incoming work orders across multiple regions. * Source, vet, onboard, and manage vendors in new and existing markets. * Build and maintain a reliable multi-state vendor network across janitorial, maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, flooring, and general repair trades. * Dispatch internal crews and third-party vendors efficiently. * Manage client and vendor platforms (Corrigo, Ariba, ServiceChannel, FMX, or similar). * Track recurring and preventative maintenance schedules. * Prepare pricing, quotes, and proposals. * Ensure proper documentation, close-out, and communication. * Track vendor performance and assist with operational reporting. Required Experience & Qualifications * Hands-on experience sourcing and onboarding vendors from scratch (required). * Experience managing vendors across multiple states or regions. * Strong understanding of vendor pricing, service expectations, and availability. * Experience with facilities management platforms (Corrigo, Ariba, ServiceChannel, etc.). * Ability to manage a high volume of work orders independently. * Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
