DESCRIPTION: Greenway Ford of KC is looking for a reliable and experienced automotive dealership Ford Master Service Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as an automotive technician with high quality vehicle maintenance and repair experience who can maintain, repair, and deliver vehicles while providing exceptional service to customers. This candidate should feel confident working independently or in a team environment. Technicians with an ASE certificate are highly encouraged to apply! Comprehensive Benefits Package: * Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance * Short and Long-Term Disability * Accident and Life Insurance * Prescription Insurance * 401K Plan * Paid Vacations and Holidays * Employee Referral Bonus * Employee Discounts and Vehicle Purchase Program * Career Growth, Advancement Opportunities, and Development Programs * Tech Guild Program: Includes recognition, gift cards, free uniforms, additional hourly pay, paid days off, a Guild jacket, awards banquet, corporate recognition outing, and more. * Tech School or College Reimbursement and Tool Allowance * Flexible Work Schedules * Access to State-of-the-Art Technology * ASE Certification Tuition Reimbursement * Part of a network of 35 Dealerships across 7 states RESPONSIBILITIES: * Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards * Test-drives vehicles and tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment * Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs automotive transmissions and related systems * Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs * Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications * Willingness to learn with hands-on training * Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: * ASE Certification or Graduated from an associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair * At least five years of Ford dealership experience as an automotive technician, preferred * Strong knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance * Familiarity with shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic tools, AC equipment, and lift operations * Must be able to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records * Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service * Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress * Must have a valid driver's license Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid training Experience: * Ford Master Tech: 5 years (Preferred) Ability to Commute: * Raytown, MO 64133 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Raytown, MO 64133: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
