SALES REPRESENTATIVE $150K+ earnings include base salary and commissions POSITION SUMMARY: The Paver Sales Specialist at Pacific Outdoor Living plays a critical role in transforming outdoor living spaces across the Greater LA Area. With a focus on selling high-quality paver driveways and patios, this position involves engaging with potential and existing clients to bring their outdoor visions to life. Responsibilities include conducting on-site consultations to understand client needs, presenting customized design solutions, and guiding clients through the selection of materials that align with their aesthetic preferences and functional requirements. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES: - Drive to 1 - 3 residential sites per day and meet with homeowners to discuss their vision for their outdoor space. - Make daily outbound calls to provide follow up on our leads and canvass as needed to generate new leads when needed to fill gaps in the schedule. - Attain or exceed the minimum presentation volume target of $100,000 weekly. - Attain or exceed the minimum gross sales target of $40,000 weekly sales. - Master and implement our In-Home Sales Presentation, Measurement process, and design process. - Take precise measurements of each site and work with the office to estimate them. - Present the estimate in person to the customer and be willing to do whatever it takes to close each sale, ideally on the first visit. - Follow up with potential clients promptly, providing additional information and answers to their questions to facilitate decision-making. - Maintain a high customer satisfaction rate by ensuring clear communication, setting realistic expectations, and delivering on promises. - Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development by engaging in a minimum of 2 hours per week of paid study time, utilizing our comprehensive training programs in sales, landscaping, etc. Participate in weekly Cardone University Sales Training, consistently complete assignments. - Uphold the reputation of Pacific Outdoor Living for unparalleled quality of service in Southern California, a recognition underscored by our inclusion on the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing companies. CAPABILITIES/KEY COMPETENCIES: - Be willing to learn everything there is to know about paving products and processes, and work towards becoming a true expert in the field. - Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with clients and articulate the value of our services. - Exhibit a high level of precision and attention to detail in measuring sites and preparing estimates to ensure accuracy and client trust. - Possess the drive and creativity to close sales effectively, employing a variety of strategies to meet the diverse needs and preferences of clients. - Show proficiency in using Office Excel and Word as well as CRM and other sales tools to track leads, manage client interactions, and maintain organized records of sales activities. - Exercise excellent time management and organizational skills to balance site visits, client meetings, and follow-up communications effectively. - Foster a team-oriented approach, sharing insights and learning from colleagues to continuously improve the sales process and client satisfaction. - Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges, maintaining a positive attitude and a focus on solutions to meet sales objectives. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: - A GED or high school diploma is preferred. - At least 1-2 years of work experience in a sales role, ideally within the home improvement, landscaping, or construction industries. Experience in outdoor living spaces and paver products is highly advantageous. - Demonstrated success in a client-facing role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - A background in design or landscape can be beneficial but is not required. REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to travel to residential sites for consultations and assessments, which includes navigating outdoor spaces and potentially uneven terrain. - Frequent use of a computer, tablet, or smartphone for communication with clients, estimate preparation, and CRM management. - Capability to take precise measurements and possibly assist with demonstrations of material samples. - Comfortable with occasional lifting of sample materials and design tools, typically weighing up to 30 pounds. - Clean driving record. - Availability to work on Saturdays and after hours on the weekdays to accommodate homeowners and meet sales targets. BENEFITS: Continuous education and career development opportunities. After completing 30 days of employment, you will be eligible for both dental and health benefits which become effective on the first of the following month after your initial 30 days. A 401K is also available after your 6th month of employment. Pacific Outdoor Living will match up to 4% of your weekly earnings as a contribution to the 401K. Paid Time Off: After 90 days you are eligible for holiday pay: we pay six holidays per calendar year (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day). Paid Sick Leave accrues starting your date of hire and is available for use after 90 days of employment with a total of 6 paid sick days per year. Vacation Pay starts accruing after 6 months of employment and becomes available for use on the following schedule: After 1st year of employment, one week of paid vacation (5 working days) After 5th year of employment two weeks of paid vacation time (10 working days) And after 10 years of employment three weeks of paid vacation time (15 working days).
