Duties * Contacting homeowners: Making calls, knocking on doors, and sending mail to potential clients * Explaining products and services: Demonstrating the benefits and prices of pest control products and services * Completing sales forms: Completing sales forms accurately for technicians to use * Contacting customers: Following up with customers after services have been performed to ensure satisfaction Requirements A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is usually required for this role. Other requirements for a residential pest control technician, also known as an exterminator, may include: * Door to Door sales experience preferred * The ability to be in standing position and walk for an extended period of time * Communication skills * Time management skills * Attention to detail * Self-starting ability * A valid driver's license * A clean background check Compensation * Commission based compensation Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal Pay: $300.00 - $1,200.00 per week Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week Benefits: * Flexible schedule Compensation Package: * Commission pay Schedule: * 4 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Evenings as needed Work Location: In person
