Full description of the position

Duties

• Contacting homeowners: Making calls, knocking on doors, and sending mail to potential clients
• Explaining products and services: Demonstrating the benefits and prices of pest control products and services
• Completing sales forms: Completing sales forms accurately for technicians to use
• Contacting customers: Following up with customers after services have been performed to ensure satisfaction

Requirements

A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is usually required for this role. Other requirements for a residential pest control technician, also known as an exterminator, may include:

• Door to Door sales experience preferred
• The ability to be in standing position and walk for an extended period of time
• Communication skills
• Time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Self-starting ability
• A valid driver's license
• A clean background check

Compensation

• Commission based compensation Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal Pay: $300.00 - $1,200.00 per week Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
