About us Lawn Systems is a full-service irrigation installation, service, and landscape installation company based in Fenton. Our company has been serving the St. Louis area for over 35 years, and we are looking to add another team member. We are looking for an experienced landscape designer with the ability to grow within the company. Duties: - Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences. Some evening availability may be required based on customer's availability. - Design and create landscape plans, including plant selection, hardscape elements, and irrigation systems meeting the client's end goals - Prepare a detailed plan of proposed landscape designs - Work with suppliers for pricing and availability. - Create a bid for the work with input from our senior estimators and sell the project to the property owner. - Coordinate with project manager and installation crews to confirm a full understanding of the design before work begins. -Potentially add the ability to estimate irrigation systems in the future. Experience: - Requirement can vary depending on experience level. Previous landscape design or horticulture program completion preferred, but other experience's to be considered. - Proficiency in using AutoCAD and creating 3D renderings or the ability to learn software programs. - Knowledge of plant species, and hardscape materials is necessary. - Experience with MS Office suite specifically Excel and Word - Ability to effectively manage your time throughout the day (client meetings to design time).
