Full description of the position
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Roofing Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a robust sales pipeline, setting clear and realistic expectations with clients, selling our high-quality roofing products, and maintaining strong follow-up with prospects. This role offers significant growth potential, with opportunities to advance within the company and to train and mentor others.
Key Responsibilities
: Build a Sales Pipeline:
- Identify and generate new leads through various channels including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients to ensure a steady stream of opportunities.
- Track and manage sales activities using CRM software to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. Set Proper Expectations:
- Educate clients on the roofing process, timelines, and potential challenges.
- Provide detailed and accurate quotes and project proposals.
- Ensure clients understand the scope of work and what to expect throughout the project. Sell High-Quality Products:
- Present and promote our range of roofing products and services to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Highlight the benefits and features of our high-quality materials and craftsmanship.
- Close sales and achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Follow-Up with Prospects:
- Maintain regular communication with potential clients to address any questions or concerns.
- Follow up on proposals and quotes to convert leads into sales.
- Provide exceptional customer service to build trust and long-term relationships. Potential to Advance and Train Others:
- Demonstrate strong performance and leadership qualities to advance within the company.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge.
- Mentor and train new sales representatives as needed.
Qualifications
:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the roofing or construction industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
