Full description of the position

The Leasing Representative negotiates and finalizes lease terms with national and local retail tenants. * Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Daily use of YARDI, SharePoint and Retail Manager * Lease retail space for small shop spaces and other spaces as directed * Secure new, impact deals for client or Company projects * Execute existing tenant renewals or restructures * Identify potential tenants and contacting them to occupy space in client and/or Company shopping centers * Contribute to the creation of leasing/marketing materials * Financial analysis of existing and prospective tenants, leases, etc. * Coordination with on-site mall staff for tenant meetings, tours, etc. * Participate in leasing meetings * Complete specific center responsibilities including the development and oversight of leasing priorities for centers assigned to employee * Canvas for prospective new local and regional tenants - cold calling, in-person meetings and follow-up * Develop productive relationships with tenants * Market and promote the Company * Diligent, accurate maintenance of Company's Leasing Pipeline tracking system * Negotiate Letters of Intent with tenants and complete diligent, accurate, complete documentation of deals * Lease negotiations from initial inquiry through lease execution * Negotiate Letters of Intent and coordinate lease negotiation and execution with legal counsel * Assist in the merchandising planning of client or Company retail properties * Participate in ICSC functions Provide superior client service * Positively and proactively collaborate with everyone in the Company in any way needed to further the leasing and marketing of mall properties to achieve, sell and provide world-class service to all our constituents * Maintain Client confidence and protect operations by keeping proprietary information confidential Perform other duties as required * Qualification Requirements * Education and/or Experience * BS Business Administration or similar degree (combination of education and experience may be looked at) * NYS Real Estate Salesperson or Broker License * Knowledge/Skills * Telephone Skills * Verbal Communication * Microsoft Office Skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook * Yardi * Leasing Pad * Listening * Professionalism * Customer Focus * Organization * Informing Others * Handles Pressure * Phone Skills * Supply Management * Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Able to manage multiple projects and priorities * Able to manage time effectively working from remote locations * Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
