Sales & Distribution Utility Driver Reports to: Self Distribution Delivery Manager Position Type: Full-time; Hourly Based In: Cincinnati, OH Schedule: 5-8 hour shifts Company Overview: Rhinegeist Brewery is a regional craft brewery based in the historic Over-The- Rhine in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. Position Summary: The Sales & Warehouse Utility Driver at Rhinegeist involves the safe and efficient delivery of products to retail locations, along with expert route planning and financial management. This position also includes coordinating resets, executing sales initiatives, and representing Rhinegeist at offsite events. Flexibility to support sales reps and working collaboratively in a high-performing team are essential. Additionally, ensuring the safe operation of commercial vehicles and accurate completion of paperwork are key responsibilities. This role is designed to assist multiple departments on an as needed basis. Leadership will ensure hours are communicated to the employee and hours are balanced. Essential Functions: * Relief Driver Duties: * Safely and efficiently deliver products to retail locations * Efficiently route your daily delivery stops * Manage all of your distribution route financials * Responsible for the safe operation of commercial motor vehicles * Accurately complete necessary paperwork * Warehouse Support Duties: * Use box trucks to move products between locations. * Pick up or deliver items to or from 3rd party customers * Sales Support Duties: * Execute key sales initiatives such as building displays, setting up point of sale and delivering trade solutions * Maintain the integrity of the brand by keeping dates in rotation and following shelf brand standards * Coordinate, manage and work our resets when identified * External Events Duties * Assist with external event setup/breakdown as needed - generally during nights weekends with notice provided * Positively represent Rhinegeist at offsite events * Problem solve when issues arise at external events * General: * Any other duties as assigned * Work as part of a high performing team Qualifications * You must have at least 1 year driving experience * Basic knowledge and skills of operating mobile technology * A candidate must be 21 years of age. * Must be flexible with work schedules and fill in when needed * Be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach with hands and arms, frequently lift and/or move 20 pounds regularly, and occasionally lift and or move up to 165 pounds in multi-temperature environments ranging from 32F to 100F.
