Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing leasing operations for our properties throughout the Western New York area, and must have reliable transportation. We are looking for someone who values teamwork, excels in communication, a background in property management is a plus, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while helping prospective tenants find their ideal home. Responsibilities * Assist prospective tenants in finding rental properties by providing information on available units and amenities either by phone calls or emails. * Conduct property tours, showcasing features and benefits of the rental unit. * Manage lease agreements, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies. * Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and renewals using property management software such as AppFolio. * Handle administrative tasks including data entry and documentation related to leasing activities. * Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, utilizing conflict management skills to resolve issues effectively. * Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure timely responses to maintenance requests. * Provide excellent customer service by creating a positive impression for potential tenants. Requirements * Proven experience in leasing or a related field is preferred. * Strong administrative skills with proficiency in data entry and administrative tasks. * Familiarity with leasing software such as AppFolio is a plus. * Excellent sales skills with the ability to promote properties effectively. * Strong conflict management abilities to handle tenant disputes professionally. * Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Compensation * This position offers a competitive hourly rate, plus bonus compensation for each successful rental.
