Tick Performance is expanding our Sales Consultant division and we have an immediate opening available for a motivated salesperson with an interest in the performance industry. Potential applicants should have the following qualifications: * Working knowledge of the performance industry, with a concentration on the LS engine platform and related domestic vehicles. * Prior sales experience is preferred but not required. * Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively. * Must be a driven individual who works hard, is detail-oriented, and self-motivated. * Able to assist customers, make parts recommendations, complete sales, and follow up are a must. * Must be able to handle high call volume and maintain professional business etiquette. Most of our sales are phone and internet-based, requiring you to work efficiently, take phone orders, answer emails, and complete orders through our software. We also attend certain trade shows throughout the year. The ideal candidate will have prior experience, however, a candidate with limited experience in the industry can still apply and be successful. You will be expected to learn quickly to assist customers proficiently. A short quiz will be sent to applicants prior to the interview process. When worked correctly and with a consistent work ethic, this position can yield a yearly income of $100,000+!!! The position is commission-based; however, we will offer a flat hourly rate of $20 per hour for new hires for the first 45 days. This pay structure demonstrates our commitment to the position and provides steady pay for potentially hesitant salespeople. After 45 days, the hourly rate decreases, and commission payouts begin, with the potential to earn up to 4% commission on the top tier with no cap. The commission structure ranges from 2%-4% on a step progression chart with no cap. Tick Performance does not offer relocation packages; therefore, applicants are expected to live in our general area as these positions will occasionally require overtime, Saturday hours, and travel to events. We will help with the relocation process for qualified applicants interested in moving.
