Position Overview The Leasing Agent is responsible for executing day-to-day leasing activities across assigned properties within DMG's portfolio. This role focuses on prospect engagement, application processing, lease execution, and move-in coordination while maintaining high standards of customer service, compliance, and professionalism. The Leasing Agent is expected to manage their workload with a high degree of autonomy, responsiveness, and accountability in a largely remote environment. Key Responsibilities * Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, text, and online platforms * Conduct property tours (in-person and virtual) * Convert prospects into qualified applicants and see them through the process until lease signing * Communicate consistently with internal teams Qualifications & Requirements * Active real estate license * Fully operational, insured vehicle * 2+ years residential leasing experience strongly preferred, as limited training will be provided * Strong communication and sales skills * Knowledge of fair housing laws * Ability to work independently in a remote environment Position Details & Compensation * Independent Contractor (1099) role * Commission-based compensation with healthy splits and no cap * No desk fees * E&O insurance provided by Daniel Management Group * Flexible schedule based on leasing demand Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits: * Referral program Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: * apartment leasing: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: * Driver's License (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Chicago, IL: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: On the road
