Position Summary The Civil Construction Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, fostering client relationships, and promoting the company's civil construction services. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of site development, earthwork, utilities, and related civil scopes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to support clients throughout the full project lifecycle. Salary & Benefit's based off experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the civil construction market. * Develop and maintain professional relationships with general contractors, developers, municipal agencies, and other key stakeholders. * Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify potential projects and strategic opportunities. * Coordinate with the estimating department to ensure proposals accurately reflect project requirements and client expectations. * Prepare and deliver formal presentations outlining company capabilities, experience, and value propositions. * Maintain a structured pipeline of prospective projects and provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to management. * Attend pre-bid meetings, job walks, and industry events as a representative of the company. * Collaborate with project management and operations teams to support successful project delivery and maintain client satisfaction. * Assist with marketing initiatives, including targeted outreach, promotional materials, and branding efforts. Qualifications * Prior experience in civil construction, site development, or related industries (sales experience preferred). * Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. * Ability to understand and explain civil language, processes, and abilities. * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems is preferred. * Valid driver's license and dependable transportation. * Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales * Minimum bachelor's degree in marketing/sales (Preferred) Competencies * Professional communication and presentation skills. * Strong business development and networking abilities. * Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through capabilities. * Ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments and external partners. Compensation and Benefits A competitive compensation package, including base salary and performance- based incentives, will be provided. Additional benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and company-provided vehicle or allowance, as applicable. 80/20 hybrid position of in person and remote.
