Location: Columbia, SC (preferred); Raleigh, NC Type : Full-Time; may be eligible for hybrid work schedule at completion of training Hiring Salary: $46,500 - $53,000 annual salary and is commensurate with direct industry experience Commitment: Two-Year Commitment to The Cason Group Our Group Sales Support team works closely with Sales Representatives, broker partners, and carrier contacts to ensure a smooth and efficient experience with excellent service through the group sales process. As a Renewal Account Executive , you will manage an assigned block of inforce business focusing on driving persistency, adding additional sources of revenue, and providing broker partners with an excellent renewal experience. What Our Account Executives Do:
- Drive and Deliver: identify and position opportunities to cross-sell new lines of business with existing groups; proactively deliver target group renewal documents to advisors and initiate a conversation to discuss renewal strategies; negotiate rates with current carrier/market or alternative carriers if necessary
- Consult and Collaborate: provide consultative services and recommendations to advisors, to help them make informed decisions on group coverage options; provide front line support for agent and carrier questions applicable to TCG partner carrier products and TCG services; answer broker questions and/or connect with the right teammate to assist the client
- Synchronize Databases: produce accurate spreadsheets on renewal groups to position the most competitive offerings for each carrier to retain business; actively follow up, track, and log updates in Monday.com throughout the renewal process
- Stay Current in Industry: maintain current knowledge of products, carriers, quoting requirements, rating procedures, installation and underwriting procedures, group insurance law, commissions, licensing and appointment procedures, and the Sales Representative's guidelines for agent interaction; attend carrier seminars and trainings; participate in broker and group meetings with Sales Rep What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Ability to multi-task and perform duties with a high attention to detail and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work in a team
- Competency in Microsoft Office products along with a knowledge of database systems
- Demonstrated proficiency of all parts of the position within four to six months Why You Should Work With Us:
