Company Overview Security Public Storage (SPS) is a family-owned and operated self-storage company with over 50+ self-storage facilities located in California, Oregon, Nevada, Maryland & Virginia. Job Summary Seeking a highly ambitious, career-oriented individual to work as a full-time Floating Relief Manager covering various facilities throughout Southern California. Sites included - Moreno Valley, Palm Desert, Glendora, Escondido, Oceanside, Chula Vista, Huntington Beach, Brea and City of Industry. Compensation and Perks * $19 per hour plus a commission! * $10 - $20 for every storage unit rented on days you work alone, which we estimate to equate to an additional $1.00 -$2.00 per hour - bringing the combined potential equivalent compensation to between $20 and $21 per hour. * We offer HMO and PPO insurance plans, as well as HSA plans through Kaiser Permanente. The company covers 80% of the employee's contribution for any sponsored plan. You are eligible to enroll in medical, dental and vision insurance after 60 days of employment. * During your first year of employment you will accrue one week's vacation time, as well as three days of sick time and one floating holiday. * We offer a 401(k) plan whereby the company matches employee contributions up to 4% of their total wages. You are eligible to participate in the 401(k) after 1 year of employment. * Employee discount on storage units. * Opportunity for advancement. * Bilingual prefered, but no required Duties * Oversight of all day-to-day operations * Works alongside team members and direct reports to maximize sales, marketing, occupancy, and revenue growth the facility * Provides outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving customer queries and problems and professionally * Effectively sells storage units to telephone, walk-in and email inquiries by employing the methods within our Call Flow Guidelines * Completes leases and other documentation in a neat and orderly manner * Reduces delinquent accounts through telephone, text and email contact * Networks with other businesses to grow awareness and expand presence within the local community * Audits inventory and other administrative tasks * Maintains exemplary curb appeal in both our office and throughout that facility, including sweeping units, cleaning hallways and disposing of debris Qualifications and Skills * Sales and marketing experience or mindset * Passion for interacting with the public * Meticulous attention to detail and organization skills * Enthusiasm for face-to-face networking * Proficient with technology including CRMs, web browsers and the Microsoft Office Suite * Receptive to ongoing coaching and feedback * Previous property management experience a plus *Commission and potential wages resented above are for representative purposes and actual earning will be based on actual sales numbers.
